Leadership-Masters
was created when two great companies merged: The Laughingstock
Company, a business theatre organization established in
1987, and Executive Development Concepts, a leadership
development company created in 1990. When the two organizations
were hired separately to create training programs for both
Deloitte & Touche and The Boeing
Company in 1996 and 1998, a fruitful collaboration began,
and the groundwork for merger was laid.
From
2001 until 2010, the two companies joined forces to create
innovative, interactive training programs for General Mills,
BP, Praxair, UBS, General Electric, and ING. An agreement
for merger was struck in 2010, and the new entity, Leadership-Masters,
became a reality in 2011. The organization is guided by
Mr. Scott L. Eck of Executive Development Concepts, and
by Mr. Mark E. Lang of The Laughingstock Company.
